Pepper Sea Club is situated on a pristine stretch of golden sand on the north east edge of the district of Apokoronas, one of the most beautiful rural areas of western Crete.
Known for its pretty traditional villages and ancient sites, Apokoronas stretches south to the foothills of the majestic White Mountains, and west to Souda Bay - one of Crete’s richest and most inspiring landscapes.
Less than 40km from Chania, and just 16km from Rethymno, Pepper is in easy reach of both, with excellent road and public transport connections. Our location makes Pepper a perfect base for hikers wanting to immerse themselves in the region’s exquisite nature and fascinating historical sites.
With a hint of middle eastern architectural motifs, Pepper Sea Club’s exterior and gardens capture the romantic essence of the southern Mediterranean - ‘the Levant’ as it was known in times past - a melting pot of cultures for thousands of years. At Pepper, the fresh clean lines of the Cycladic islands interweave with traces of the middle east, creating elegant, intimate spaces for rest and play.
